UV50+ protection

This garment is crafted with fabric engineered for UV50+ sun-protection technology. UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) measures how much UV radiation is kept from reaching your skin in the areas the garment covers.

50+ is the maximum rating, blocking on average 98% of ultraviolet A and B rays.

Tested, and built to last

To carry the UV50+ rating, the fabric undergoes rigorous analysis and measurement in specialized, independent laboratories that verify its protection. That protection is built into the weave — it lasts the entire life of the garment and doesn’t wash out after wear or repeated laundering.

Tested for harmful substances

The fabric is also certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 — the “confidence in textiles” label — confirming the absence of substances harmful to human health and the environment.

UPF rating applies to the fabric as tested. Sun protection may be reduced if the garment is stretched, worn wet, or significantly worn over time. UV-protective clothing is one part of sun-safe habits, alongside shade and sunscreen on exposed skin.
